Named after a large bolder once used as a native American meeting place, Glen Rock became a borough in 1894. The town center is filled with a variety of shops, restaurants and services situated between two train stops. Glen Rock has been voted one of the best places to live in New Jersey due to its excellent schools and low crime rate.
